The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Riverside Branchis holding their 2013 Membership Kickoff event on Thursday, January 31st from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Parkview Community Hospital, 3865 Jackson Street, Riverside, CA 92503.

The event will feature an inspiring presentation from EMPOWER-U: Sticks and Stones – The Scars from Bullying Can Last a Lifetime, Installation of NACCP Officers, Guest Speakers for all ages, and live music, as well as networking opportunities, skits, raffles and prizes. Refreshments will be served.

Our goal is to gain 100 new members from Riverside and the surrounding communities. The mission of the NAACP is to ensure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate race-based discrimination.
